An amazing opportunity has just become available within Goodman Group for a RESERVATIONS HOST to join our Reservation team and share the love of delivering the highest level of customer service at all times.
Our restaurants are so successful that we mainly work around reservations, only a few walk ins when we can accommodate, so the role is key!
Job Role:
Constantly leading, motivating and developing your team, inspire them to deliver the exemplary service we are famous for.
Taking reservations over the phone at site, liaising with our reservations office and maintaining the reservations system.
Greeting guests and communicating waiting times.
Organising the table layout and regulating seating times.
Assist the team in preparing the tables to ensure maximum turnover.
Acknowledging guests’ feedback
Building and maintaining good rapport with regular guests.
Maintaining excellent communication with other departments of the restaurant.
Ideal Candidate:
Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Host Supervisor role.
Passionate about delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn and work hard.
Excellent communication skills and be confident in the way you interact with people.
Well spoken with an excellent telephone manner and impeccable English.
experience using an online booking system (Quandoo would be an advantage but not essential)
Keen to progress their career in a quality restaurant environment.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
As the first point of contact for our customers it is crucial you are able to remain calm under pressure and are polite to all members of the public.
Please note: The restaurants are open Monday to Saturday therefore you will be required to work on shift basis divided between daytimes and evenings.
