Launceston Place Restaurant is part of the D and D Group and was awarded two AA Rosettes in 2022.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate receptionist/host to be the welcoming face of the restaurant, and provide exceptional customer service to all of our guests.
During service you will take care of all guests as they arrive, and ensure smooth and efficient seating, maximising table availability. You’ll also assist in handling administration and incoming calls and will be responsible for dealing with enquiries alongside the management/events team.

The ideal candidate will have:
•Fantastic customer service skills
•experience working in a quality hospitality environment
•A keen eye for detail and immaculate presentation
•Excellent communication skills
•The ability to forge strong links and build relationships with all guests
•A love for “wow”ing the customer and going the extra mile
•Knowledge of Opentable reservation system (not essential as training will be given, but preferred)
