The Culpeper Pub on Commercial Street (Brick Lane, Spitalfields, Shoreditch) is recruiting for a lovely host or hostess for immediate start.
Full time/Part time available. Great pay and an equal share in service charge/TRONC.
Busy pub and restaurant with guest rooms is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist to join our team. Predominantly working evenings in our first floor restaurant and also responsible for check-in/outs for guests in our five double hotel rooms.
Duties include:
Taking phone and email reservations for the restaurant and entering them into Opentable.
Confirming reservations by phone.
Coordinating the table plan and maximising bookings alongside the Kitchen and management teams,
Greeting and seating guests on arrival.
Managing the reservations during service, including relays, and communicating with the floor staff to keep the system updated.
Printing and editing menus.
Booking guests into the hotel internally using Little Hotelier.
Monitoring hotel bookings received online, including through different booking channels.
Spot checking bedrooms daily after the housekeeper to ensure they are impeccable.
Monitoring stock levels of coffee, soap etc. For the rooms.
Co-ordinating linen stock and monitoring levels.
Essential:
Fluent English
Familiar with Opentable and Little Hotelier or similar.
Excellent phone manner.
At least one year’s experience in a restaurant or similar role in the UK/ London
