Host/Hostess
The Rubens at the Palace Hotel is looking for a Host/Hostess to join the Food and Beverage department, and assist with the daily preparation, service, clearing and re-setting of the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The Rubens at the Palace Hotel is a stunning four star deluxe property located in the heart of London’s Victoria. This wonderful hotel features 161 individually designed bedrooms and Suites, an established bar and lounge, two restaurants and 9 function rooms where we are offering our guests a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The main responsibilities of the Host/Hostess will include:
• Welcoming guests upon arrival and escorting them to their table
• Ensuring prompt and professional guest service
• To familiarise yourself with all guests and remember specific guest preferences
• Serving guests both promptly and professionally

The ideal candidate for the Host/Hostess position should:
• Have previous experience within a similar role in a four or five star hotel or fine dining
restaurant
• Be able to interact in a professional manner with guests and employees
• Communicate effectively in English
• Have a positive and friendly attitude
