Restaurant Host – The Rubens at the Palace Hotel
Our newly refurbished Traditional English Grill is soon to open its doors! And we are currently recruiting for passionate and enthusiastic Host/ess' to join our opening team!
Key responsibilities of the Host/ess will include:
• Welcoming, greeting and assisting the guests to hotel standards
•Assist with the daily preparation, service, clearing and re-setting of the restaurant
•Assist the management team with planning staffing levels, and ensuring a high level of service is being offered
•To be an ambassador for the departmental grooming standards
•Assist the management team in ensuring that all new staff are inducted properly into the department
•Assist with on-going departmental training and performance reviews
•To motivate the team through positive communication,
The ideal candidate for the Host/ess position should:
•Have a good knowledge of food and beverage products
•Be able to deal with guests and staff members in a professional manner
•Abe to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
•Be dynamic, organised and have a pro-active attitude
•Be eligible to work on a full-time basis within the UK
•Be bubby, friendly and not afraid of hard work
