We're looking for a reliable, self-motivated, switched on person to join the Hospitality Team to take on the responsible position of the evening Meeting Room Set Up Porter. This role is integral to the department and its’ operation, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Working Monday to Friday, 5pm-9pm, you and a colleague will have the task of setting up meeting rooms across several buildings on our large campus, ready for the following day’s meetings. With some light lifting required, the ideal person will have commitment, be a team player and work well with colleagues; but also be self-motivated and be able to complete tasks alone (when occasion arises), with limited guidance and a fixed deadline.
experience is a bonus, but not essential as full training will be given. A great personality is essential as well as fluent English to be able to converse with colleges and clients (required on occasion). A good level of reading is also necessary in order to understand set up sheets.
Uniform is provided as well as beverages on duty. Free bus transport is available from the local underground station (Osterley) as well as links to Gunnersbury, Acton, South Ealing and Ealing Broadway.
