Hospitality Assistant Required

Hospitality
• Deliver and clear all catering requirements for meeting rooms
• Maintain and refresh all meeting rooms
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc, throughout the day
• To be fully aware of the room services and menus, answer questions on menu selections, communicates with suppliers regarding menu questions and product availability.
• Follows all the guest needs until they are completed to the total guest satisfaction.
• Welcomes clients and other guests in an appropriate manner.
• Escorts the guests to their assigned rooms
• Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
• Serves the guests in a calm, discrete and courteous manner, respecting timing standards.
• The candidate will also need to cover Front Desk as required.
• Hosts and welcome all guests in a gracious and polite manner, and to have the ability to hold a conversation with the guest in a natural and spontaneous manner.
• Wishes fond farewell to the guest at the time of departure.
Administration
• Keeps relevant teams informed about the guest allergies and food preferences.
• Helps monitoring the stock inventory and stock rotation
• Takes notes of all the booking information, updates and instructions and acts accordingly.
• Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules and policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• To attend and contribute to all meetings and training as scheduled and other related activities.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Room Set-up
• Ensures rooms are set-up as necessary for each booking.
• Plans room bookings so there is sufficient time to change room configuration for next occupants
• Informs cleaning department when full cleans are needed within an area and always spot cleans minor cleaning issues.
• Fully conversant with floor features: lay-out, room type, location, in room facilities and equipment.
• Fully aware of operating procedures for all electrical and electronic equipment in the client rooms
• Keeps furniture store tidy
Hours of Work
• 40 hours per week
• Reasonable flexibility in start and finish times to meet requirements of the role.
