We are looking for two highly personable assistants to join our team and journey. If you love interacting with people, the hustle and bustle of hospitality and being a part of creating fantastic baked goods at a truly unique London location then keep reading.
We are looking for one full time assistant and one part time assistant to join our team as soon as possible in September/October. The role will involve shift work Wednesday through till Sunday.
Hospitality Assistant Duties:
•Assisting the Head Baker with day to day kitchen duties such as weighing out ingredients and making decorations
•To help with daily cleaning and shift changeovers
•To meet and greet customers and keep a happy buzz throughout the shift
•To prepare / open and close the site during days of operation
•To talk to customers and give them tips throughout the sessions
•Be creative
•To be able to keep up energy and positive atmosphere in busy shifts
Responsibilities of all staff:
This role will be hugely diverse. As part of our pop up business you will be customer facing, often host to our customers and an all round hero to our business and customers.
•Open and Close the pop up with the Head Baker
•Help manage inventory
•Follow all food and hygiene food and safety regulations
•Manage the arrival of customers
•Time management of the event and shift changeover
•helping to host up to 20 customers in a friendly and fun manner, representing our brand brilliantly
•Pre preparing customers ingredients at the start of the day
•Regularly providing event feedback to business owners
•Managing booking and arrival systems
•Managing some customer enquires
•Responsible for daily cleaning tasks
•Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
•The willingness to stand in for other staff at short notice in case of illness etc Qualifications include:
Qualifications for pastry chef:
- Diploma in professional patisserie or equivalent
Qualifications for Hospitality Assistant:
•Examples of previous hospitality experience
Working conditions
The role will be working in a popular and pleasant Tooting establishment. The role will require shift work Wednesday to Sunday. You will need to be comfortable working with groups of up to 20 people.
Physical requirements
Opening hours are between 9am and 11pm and shifts will occur within, and occasionally outside of these time.
