At a time of rapid growth, UniLED Solutions is now looking to hire a new “Office Manager/Executive Assistant” to provide administrative support across its Financial, Human Resources , Operations and other departments, as well as manage the day-to-day activities of the Office.
Predominantly you will be focused on running the day-to-day activities of the Office. However, you will also support the finance/accounts division, providing day-to-day support to, and reporting in to, the Commercial Director on various financial/accounting tasks. However, support and assistance will also be required for the Human Resources and Operations departments, as well as providing secretarial and admin support for the Directors (including the MD). The role is very important and offers an exciting opportunity to gain a high level of skills, knowledge and expertise in a niche industry, as well as joining a vibrant, growing, dynamic and entrepreneurial company operating in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
Skills and experience
At least 6-12 months in a similar role, and ideally in a service based business such as UniLED operates in.
Meticulous - must have excellent attention to detail
Organised – an essential part of this role
Numerate – must have a good grip on numbers (ideally have some qualifications to back that up)
Literate – must be able to construct clear and grammatically accurate emails.
Good Commercial Awareness
Hard Working – although rare, on occasion you may be required to work out of normal business hours, including weekends.
Customer service, in particular a confident and professional phone and email manner.
Communicative, personable and friendly – some tasks will be client facing either in person or on the phone
Resilient and Robust - the job will be testing at times and you must be prepared to deal with demanding senior colleagues in a co-operative and helpful way, with the right attitude
Reliable and trustworthy
Team Player
Full UK Driving Licence
Microsoft Office – good (excellent a bonus) Excel and Word, Powerpoint (preferred but not essential)
Salary and Benefits:
£20,000 – £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
