Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Provide and maintain a clean HGV C licence
• Loading, Unloading and Storing goods
• Temperature recording at the point of loading.
• Insuring the goods arrive at their destination on time and in first class condition.
• Working closely with the loader to unsure all relevant paperwork is complete accurately
• Ensuring the correct handover of goods to the client
• Making sure all drivers regulations are adhered to
• Ensuring Vehicles are kept clean and maintained to a high standard
• Completing daily vehicle defect sheets and reporting defects accurately
• Up holding an excellent company image and representation at all times.

Professional qualification and competences
Essential
• Must Hold Valid HGV C licence
• Must be able to provide 5 year checkable history
• Knowledge of driver’s hours and working time directive.
• Must Hold a digital Tachograph card
• Good level of English
Desirable
• Previous Inside experience
• Previous HGV C Driving experience
