Role Overview
Working for an award winning Construction Company. The Driver will have an extremely crucial role within the business and will be joining a team renowned for their exceptional client service who are currently winning a variety of high end multi million pound residential contracts in London. You will responsible for driving to construction sites to load and unload goods.
Key Responsibilities
• Driving the company truck/lorries to transport goods/soil
• Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.
• Ensure goods reach site at the required time
• Report any Health and Safety issues whist on road or on-site
• Providing progress reports and updates to head office of any challenges whist on road or on-site
• Ensuring there is a clear communication with head office in regards to materials and site requirements.
• Offering a customer focused service practically.
Person Profile
The Driver will have:
• Age 25 or over with a valid full clean driving licence (Essential)
• Valid CPC Card with category C (HGV) or CE licence (Essential)
• Valid HIAB ticket/card
• Fors training (Desirable)
• Minimum of 2 year experience in a driving trucks / lorries (Essential)
• Valid First Aid certificate (Desirable)
• Valid CSCS Card (Preferable)
• Physically fit
• Good knowledge of West London
• Some knowledge of building material
• Commercially minded,
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Enthusiastic with the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good communication, motivational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
