Hello,
We are recruiting heavy drinkers who want to cut down to take part in a study that will help us understand the brain chemistry of learning and memory related to heavy drinking.

The study will take place over 3 sessions over 1 week, with occasional follow up emails after.
Day 1 and 3 will take place at UCL and will take roughly 1- 2 hrs
Day 2 will take place at University College Hospital and will take roughly 2 hrs
You will be reimbursed ~£80 in total for your time.
To take part you must:
1. Drink over 30 units a week (female) or 40 units a week (male) and drink at least 3/4 or more days/week
2. Drink beer regularly
3. Seriously want to reduce the amount you drink
4. Be otherwise health 18-65 yr old
5. Not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
6. Be able to attend 3 sessions at UCL.
Note there are other strict inclusion criteria and you must complete a telephone screening to check you are eligible to take part.
