An opportunity has come up for a Health and Social Care manager to work for a fortune 500 company with over 60 offices in 20 countries. The client is a holding company for insurance, reinsurance, specialist advisory and investment operations around the world. Salary - £70,000 - £80,000 Location - Fenchurch street Duties and accountability's.
With a thorough and robust understanding of the care sector, develop expertise in how this is considered or transposes within the Insurance sector.To support the underwriting risk assessment survey function (risk evaluation of care services).Be a point of expert knowledge to assist Underwriters in their understanding of potential risk opportunities in the care sector.To be a point of expertise to consider risks emerging from new and existing covers and advising on improvement actions and interventions. Undertake surveys generally more complex risks and make proportional and realistic risk improvements that both support the underwriters position and the wider relationships with Brokers and the Policyholder (proportionality).Quality assure their work and provide guidance to Associates undertaking both survey activity and policy linked and run-off service delivery. Oversee the deployment and matching of service delivery requests to Associates ensuring good outcomes for policy holders. Stimulate evidence-based outcomes from services delivered and linking this to the promotion of best in class positioning. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, Underwriters, Brokers and Policy holders across the UK to maximize services in support of products. Provide decision-making support to the administrative individuals linked to the account activities described. Agree quarterly and annual growth objectives within the sector to achieve the growth ambitions and objectives. Assist with the development of a detailed tactical business plan to achieve the agreed sector growth and financial targets. Assist other business partners with their development of a business development strategies to further develop key relationships and increased penetration in chosen markets to both retain and increase market share to achieve overall growth objectives Provide regular detailed and timely management reports and informatics to ensure the wider business is both informed and engaged.
Qualifications and Training
Degree level qualification in social care or health Practitioner qualification.

Evidence of leading services at Director level Knowledge and experience of LEAN and/or Total Quality Management systems implementation of whole-systems care pathways and service models experience of managing a large, multi-disciplinary workforce experience of working across organisational boundaries and developing productive partnership arrangements Track record of personal achievement transforming care services experience of leading large complex teams and individuals at senior management level Extensive experience of working in care experience of managing services for Adults or Children experience of working with purchasers of services Project Management experience experience of business planning and managing sizeable budgets circa 5 million and above.
