About MILK BEACH

Milk Beach is a new café and wine bar opening on Lonsdale Rd in the summer of 2022
COFFEE – we will be sourcing our own coffee that is traceable to the farm and carefully roasting it ourselves. Our Head of Coffee is the UK Roasting Champion.
WINE – our wine philosophy is consistent with our approach to coffee – we will source wines from independent winemakers with a focus on organic and natural wines.
FOOD – we will serve an all-day brunch and small-plates in the evening, with a focus on sourcing the best possible seasonal ingredients we can find.

Background

Milk Beach is being created by Elliot Milne, Matthew Robley-Siemonsma and Chris Munnings.

Elliot worked with the Bill Gates Foundation to set up the Coffee Initiative Project in Ethiopia – arranging financing for coffee farmers to purchase better equipment, improve the quality of their coffee and increase profits.
Matthew is the two-time UK Roasting Champion, previously at Prufrock and TAP.
Chris was most recently Head Chef at Duck and Waffle Local.
