Sales and Marketing Manager - UK
Position Overview:
The Railbookers’ Sales and Marketing Manager oversees the execution of outreach to marketing partners through driving sales in partnership marketing, brochure production, print advertising, and overall brand messaging. This individual will lead in the development and implementation of our overall marketing strategy in all channels. The Sales and Marketing Manager develops plans and implements all marketing strategies in conjunction with the marketing, sales and product teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and manages the overall plan for marketing, communications, social, online, and traditional media for all Railbookers’ existing and future brands in all channels of distribution.
Oversees all partnerships (travel agent, media and associations)
Oversees all affiliate marketing partnerships.
Analyzes all customer activities to improve conversion rate.
Manages marketing budget
Manages day-to-day campaign planning, development and execution of marketing activities.
Works with designers on all aspects of visual marketing needs, including print ads, publications and marketing material.
Oversees the Company's UK public relations initiatives including press releases, advertising, marketing materials and publications.
Manage multiple projects, prioritize work and balance strategic and tactical issues.
There will be a requirement from time to time to work outside normal hours and to attend events such as conferences, educational trips etc during evening hours or over weekend periods.
Skills and Essential Functions:
Must have an understanding of current marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
Must have an understanding of the strategic sales life cycle.
Must possess excellent project management and planning skills.
Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills and be able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Must be a self-starter and independent thinker and effectively meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with teams to identify, prioritize and deliver on marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications or related field required.
5 + Years in Marketing
Proven relationship in sales conversions in the travel industry/hospitality field.
experience in managing marketing/creative campaigns and launching new marketing programs, including budget management, data-driven marketing campaigns, and audience segmentation strategies is required.
