Head of ITOur client a Charity for blind and partially sited children, is are looking for a Head of ITThey are looking for an experienced 1st/2nd line technical support IT equipment. You will also provide support for their communications systems, assist in daily administration of IT Department and undertake project work as and when required.The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a multi-site, similar sized organisation (150 PCs) in a Network Support Help Desk/ Analyst role. You will require Windows 7, 10 and Server 2008R2 experience, be able to support routing and switching issues, be confident with hardware and be able to deal with application issues, particularly in relation to Office 365. In addition to this specific experience, you would benefit from having strong communication skills including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.Due to the nature of the Society’s work, the successful candidate will also be required to hold a current and acceptable enhanced DBS check, or be willing to undertake one.
