Head of Data Analysis, Insight and Quality with excellent management and team leadership skills is required for the Big Lottery Fund.
SALARY: £50,350 - £59,325 per annum, London £55,385 - £65,258 per annum + plus Generous Benefits.
LOCATION: The location for this role is flexible and can be based out of any of our offices – London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Exeter, Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast, Newtown.

Job overview
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Data Analysis, Insight and Quality to join our new Information Team. The Team has a UK-wide remit to transform the way we think about and use our data through an ambitious programme of change being developed within a fast-moving and demanding information environment.
This is a high-profile job. As the Head of Data Analysis, Insight and Quality you will lead a small team of Senior Data Analysts and will be the centre of focus for data analysis, insight and quality. You will run our new Data Warehouse reporting system and leverage text-mining technologies to make the most of our existing data. Making this information accessible is critical to encouraging the sense of enquiry and curiosity that underpins better decision-making, so you’ll also design and deploy Tableau dashboards.
As the Head of Data Analysis, Insight and Quality you will lead by example, guiding and mentoring your team and helping to develop a broad functional family of like-minded colleagues throughout the Fund to improve our capacity. experience of managing a data or statistical analysis function is therefore key, along with experience of informal/dotted-line relationships with multi-disciplinary teams. A high level of technical competence is assumed for this role. You’ll have expertise in data analysis/segmentation, and be comfortable working to SLAs. You’ll also have managed consultants, internal and external suppliers, and team or project budgets.
Your excellent communication and people skills will give you the confidence to collaborate proactively and effectively with colleagues at all levels throughout and beyond the Fund. We’ll be looking for evidence that you can bring about collaborative evidence-based change.

Candidate requirements
As the Head of Data Analysis, Insight and Quality you will have the following skills and experience:

Previous management and team leadership experience.

experience running Data Warehouse Reporting Systems and leveraging Text-Mining Technologies.

experience of managing data or statistical analysis function.

A high level of technical competence

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
