HEAD MAITRE D' JOB DESCRIPTIONMark HIX is looking for a head MaƮtre D' to join our team at Tramshed, Shoreditch.Set in the heart of bustling Shoreditch, this is a fast-paced restaurant, open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, which serves chicken and steak under the watchful eye of Damien Hirst's iconic Cock 'n' Bull installation. The ideal person will be friendly and passionate about delivering exception customer service. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm and positive in a pressured environment.The Details:- Welcoming and seating guests- Effectively managing reservations during service to maximize covers whilst always striving to accommodate guests' requests- Managing and booking telephone and email reservations / assisting Events Managers on any event enquiries- Supporting the Reservations Manager with the training and development of the reservations team- Communicating with the Head Chef and Restaurant Managers on all booking activity / guest information- Management of administrative elements of role in Reservation Manager's absence experience in a similar role and a strong command of spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of Open Table an advantage.
