Anna Mae’s is an established street food company; we are London’s original Mac N Cheese dealers. We feed the hungry all sorts of events from markets to music festivals, bar mitzvahs and birthdays. We are looking for an enthusiastic, food-loving manager to join our amazing crew.
What’s the job?
• To organise and manage our stall or truck at gigs be they private parties over Christmas, markets or festivals in the summer
• Working behind the scenes at our unit preparing for and setting up events, working closely with Anna and Tony on the logistical side
• Technical aspects such as cooking, building Stalls, rigging gas and electrics, health and safety, stock levels, quality control
• Managing front and back of house, work closely with the team and ensure both sides are working as effectively as possible and the food going out is the best it can be
• Being the face of Anna Mae’s through dealing with clients and customers, cooking and serving food to our high standards
• It’s definitely not a 9-5. Its long hours, tiring physical work, lots of traveling, thinking on your feet but you’ll be working with a great team at some awesome events
Who are We are looking for?
• A DRIVER! Do not bother applying unless you have a full, clean license
• Someone flexible with their time – we do not work standard hours at all!
• You must be based in London – there’s lots of travelling to different venues around the city
• Someone with experience in bar work/events/catering is preferred. Some people management experience is also useful – you must be able to cook!
• Someone who gets a buzz working at lots of different events, talking to different people and serving amazing food
• You need a positive attitude and a can-do approach to your work – we work with many different environments each with challenges along the way, but this is what makes the job stimulating, exciting and every day completely new
• Someone with energy and enthusiasm who is looking for an opportunity to get fully involved with a successful street food company
