Head Concierge, The Ned, London
How The Ned Happened
Taking over the City’s disused Midland Bank Building, Soho House and Co. And New York’s Sydell Group have collaborated to restore the beautiful Grade I listed building. Hosting 250 bedrooms, 10 restaurants, bars, a member’s club, Barber and Parlour, Ned’s Club Gym and Spa, two swimming pools, along with six dedicated event spaces.
The Role
The Head Concierge is a key member of the front of house team and plays a pivotal role in the guest experience. Leading a large Concierge Team, you will ensure our guests experience unique, warm, and memorable service. You will have the ability to truly affect the guest’s overall experience not only in the hotel, but in London and beyond. Excellent, above and beyond style of service is the foundation of everything you do.
You will be a Concierge with proven prior leadership experience and exceptional people skills. You’ll and have the ability to read guests’ needs and customise every experience. You are great at multi-tasking and thinking outside the box. You are comfortable dealing with high profile guests from diverse backgrounds.
Key Qualities:
• Previous Concierge experience, preferably in London.
• Proven leadership experience
• The ability to motivate, train and mentor the Concierge team.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
• Pro-active and reliable
• Comfortable with basic PC functions and Hotel Operating systems would be a plus.
• Efficient in multi-tasking in high pressure environments.
• Comfortable and able to carry luggage and guest items.
• Passionate about helping people
• Creative thinker
• Have flexible availability
