Head Chef - Modern Venue - Competitive Salary
We are looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to join a modern venue in Islington. You will be joining a well-established, yet fairly new venue who will invest in your development as much as they are looking forward in the development of the business.
You will;
* Have a proven background in high-end gastro pub food or fine dining
* Have been a head chef in successful pub or restaurant for the past 2 years or have been a sous chef in a successful pub or restaurant for the past 3 years and looking to take the next step in your career.
You will be expected to;
* Deal with suppliers and keep a good working relationship with them
* Write menus within guidelines of the company
* Hit General Practitioner targets
* Help improve day-to-day business and reach maximum capacity
* Work with the local community
* Write kitchen staff rotas
* Train and support kitchen staff
* Manage our stock system and conduct weekly stocktakes
* And of course keep the kitchen within Food and Hygiene Regulations
