Head Chef Organic Cafe Needed

HEAD CHEF HOLISTIC CENTRE FOR HEALTH and WELLBEING. NEW OPENING
This privately run centre with a launch planned for May will house a gym, activity Suites (Yoga, Aerobics etc) therapy rooms, dance studio, centre for performing arts and exhibition space and a 45 cover café with an open theatre kitchen.
Open all day every day the kitchen will serve breakfasts, snacks, cakes, pastries, artisan coffees, a holistic all day menu and will include a juice bar, organic wines and daily specials. Customers will include sport and fitness enthusiasts, members attending special classes and the general public,
Menus will be fresh, organic, simple and contemporary and will include raw, vegan, gluten free, High carb, protein fix and detox dishes.
As Head Chef you will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of the day to day running of your kitchen.
Role
• Head of Department
• Run the kitchen day-to-day
• Manage the kitchen team
• Maintain very high standards of Food, Service, Hygiene, Efficiency
• Work with the owners to achieve the business’ objectives
 
Required: Qualifications / Skills / experience
• Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality
• Interest in fitness, health and wellbeing
• Knowledge of nutrition and special diets including vegan and GF
• Fully conversant with Hygiene and Health and Safety best practice
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organized chef with several years’ experience running a similar busy fresh food café outlet. 
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 + Bonus.
