We are a young and creative team of people who are looking for ambitious chefs that are keen to learn and progress. We believe that life is too short to not enjoy your job so we want to find people who love and care about what they do who will share their ideas and have fun. We are opening new sites all the time so the opportunity to develop and grow is huge.
We organise regular training sessions and tastings with our suppliers, as well as paperwork training for up and coming chefs who are wanting to move up the ranks.
Our food offer;
A menu of consistently wonderful British seasonal pub classics cooked over charcoal.
We will be serving brunch, express lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday and roasts on a Sunday.
The Role will require;
- Staff management and team leadership
- An understanding of British produce and the seasons
- experience of cooking using charcoal
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen paperwork
- Ability to manage food costs and meet General Practitioner ’s
- Costing’s for each dish to reach 73% General Practitioner
- Ability to work with suppliers and manager relationships
- Good stock control and invoicing
- Create dishes to a consistent standard and specification
- Team of 4 chefs
The offer;
- Salary is up to £35,000
- 2 days off, approximately. 46 hour week
- 20% of all other Sister sites
- Develop a team in a fast developing young pub company
