Head Chef for THE Good Egg's NEW Soho Restaurant

Posted: Today
Place: West End, London

WANTED: HEAD CHEF FOR THE GOOD EGG’S NEW Soho RESTAURANT
Would you like to be the Head Chef at one of London’s most popular restaurants? Do you enjoy the challenge of leading a busy kitchen team? Do you have stamina, passion and a love for exceptional food prepared using fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients?
For two years now, The Good Egg has been serving up delicious Israeli- and New York Deli-inspired brunch and small plates designed to get guests sharing at its Stoke Newington neighbourhood spot. The restaurant’s reputation as one of London's top eateries continues to have eager customers queuing up to two hours for brunch at the weekends, and an evening dinner service that’s often fully booked well in advance.
We have a strong team of chefs at our Stoke Newington restaurant, who collectively have worked previously at places like Ottolenghi, Mission E2, Hix, The Palomar, Berber and Q and The Marksman. Our brunch and dinner menus are devised entirely in-house and provide plenty of opportunity for hands-on dish development and creative cheffing. We’re a fast-growing business and envisage that the successful Head Chef will grow with us as we move forward.
We’re looking for a Head Chef with lots of ambition and enthusiasm to join the team at our new site at central London’s exclusive Kingly Court venue, just off Soho’s Carnaby Street. Our Head Chef needs to balance consistent food quality with good financial performance, combining all this with excellent people-management skills to ensure a happy and hard-working kitchen team and a good relationship with the Front of House team.
Previous experience as a Head Chef in a busy, quality-driven company – as well as experience in successfully opening a new restaurant – will put you at an advantage.
