We need a dedicated and creative Head Chef to take charge of the kitchen in our new restaurant in East London. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Head Chef with the right skills and experience to join an independently owned neighbourhood restaurant and become part of a committed team who are passionate about what they do.
The person we seek must have enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and above all the desire, experience and ability to create and produce excellent French food.
The following skills and attributes are essential :
A genuine passion for great French food and the ability to deliver it to the highest standards.
The ability to maintain a positive attitude and stay calm and in control when working under pressure.
The ability to create, lead and motivate a small, professional brigade of chefs.
A full understanding of food hygiene and safety issues, with advanced formal qualification.
Able to take full responsibility for the kitchens financial performance.
A strong CV demonstrating serious career progression with at least 1 years experience as Head Chef in a restaurant, or 2 years experience at Senior Sous Chef level
