What we are looking for: A Head chef able to run a clean, organised kitchen producing high quality seasonal British food. Clear communication, leadership and good knowledge in food hygiene and health and safety will be essential in the role. Also someone who is self motivated, willing to put in the time and effort to achieve modern, good tasting dishes. Good experience around fresh food and cooking from scratch is essential as everything is made in house. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and an opportunity of bonus.
About us: The Chancery is an exciting and forward thinking family run independent gastro pub in Beckenham that seats up to 40-50 in the restaurant and a function room that holds up to 60. We have been open nearly three years building up lots of local customer clientele, keeping a small but seasonal menu and offering a specials board creating an opportunity for chefs to do something a little different and creative. We are keen to find the right individual to be part of our team and hope this offers an exiting new opportunity for us as a business.
