Tabun Kitchen, serving fresh Palestinian-inspired food in a modern bright licensed restaurant is looking to recruit a new Head Chef. This is a great opportunity to run the kitchen in an exciting and vibrant new restaurant making freshly prepared food that has already earned Rave reviews.
As Head Chef, you will be a natural team leader that is able to manage, train and develop the brigade, overseeing a 50 cover operation. The role requires someone who is well organised and has outstanding communication skills. The Head Chef will have at least 4 years’ experience within the role in a fast pace operation. The business needs someone that can handle pressure and understands finance (food cost, budgeting and P and L). We are happy to consider a strong, experienced Sous Chef stepping up.

We are not looking for you to have a background in the Middle East, but excitement about the concept and the food is essential.

What we’re looking for:
• Someone with a passion for cooking and being in the kitchen, who's excited about giving our guests the best food experience possible and who has high standard
• Excellent - and we mean exceptional - hygiene and cleanliness standards that you will hold your staff accountable to
• At least a year’s experience as a Head Chef - you need to be familiar with dealing with suppliers, margins, meeting KPIs for your cost of goods, keeping within your budget for food and staff
• Great communication skills with good spoken English
• A great work ethic. Being in the kitchen can be hectic but we want time to fly because you're enjoying being with us.
