About you
We are a small team and so you will be an important part of our family and a vital part of what we do. We can assure you that your voice will be heard and you will have freedom and autonomy on your menu. We are looking for strong and experienced tapas Head Chef with passion for Spanish cuisine and ability to lead a team in a busy environment. Fluency in Spanish would be an advantage.
About the Head Chef role
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following;
Day to day operation of the kitchen
Taking control of all administration tasks.
Ordering, and accepting deliveries
Training of kitchen team members
Maintaining and introducing procedures to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
Controlling General Practitioner
Liaising with suppliers
Rostering effectively and controlling kitchen labour.
Developing new dishes and creating seasonal menus.
Working with the General Manager to generate ideas for foodie events, and increasing revenue for the site.
You will report directly to the General Manager but work closely with the Executive Chef.
