Creative Head Bartender for Arts Venue in London GBP23,000 AVAILABLE as soon as possible !An iconic building that hosts some of the most exciting and vibrant events in London.We are looking for an artistic and talented head bartender that is skilled but also passionate about the drinks industry especially cocktail creation. Cocktail experience is essential for this role.The Head bartender key responsibilities will be to oversee the running of a very busy pop up bar ensuring there is a relaxed, yet efficient atmosphere for customers, directing the staff to achieve their goals, making sure all financials are accounted for, ordering stock, arranging staff rotas and ensuring health and safety is to the company's standards.The role* Responsible for ordering of supplies as and when necessary* Carry out accurate cash-up procedures at end of night* Informed and aware of all relevant legislation regarding health and safety* Responsible for ensuring that security procedures are adhered to throughout the hotel.* Communicate regularly and efficiently with the team and Bar Operations Manager* Constantly strive to improve the standards of hygiene and service throughout the bar* Maintain and/or implement new efficient and effective work methods and systems.* Prepare and issue, according to bar practice, staff rotas which will provide adequate cover in the most effective manner Ideal candidate* Holder of a current Personal License or successful completion of the relevant training* A working knowledge of classic cocktails and awareness of cocktail trends* An organised and efficient individual with exceptional verbal communication* A team player with the ability to work on own initiative* Well presented, positive and versatile with excellent communication skills* A diplomat who can diffuse situations with a calm and positive approach* Supports and encourages team working behaviour leading by example* Bar supervisory experience, preferably in a multi-faceted hospitality environment.* Previous experience of running cocktail sessions* Demonstrated experience of leading and motivating a team of staff.You will be working a maximum 35 hours per week and will be entitled of great holiday benefits and perks that includes discounted tickets for amazing shows and events!If interested in this fantastic opportunity then please get in contact now with.
