Job Description
Role 5 days a week with one weekend day
Excellent coffee skills, latte art and knowledge about our coffee and drinks
Detailed knowledge of equipment - grinder, coffee machine, jugs, mugs etc
Work closely with the coffee roastery
Make coffee orders and ensure that stock is rotated effectively
To make yourself aware and notify your team of any drinks menu changes, special requirements, outstanding orders or work tasks required prior to the commencement of service
To participate daily morning briefings with all senior supervisory staff to go through day’s activities, menus and events either in person or adding notes on One Note, or briefing staff in an email ensuring a supervisor relays those messages.
Develop a calendar of all key training with the shop manager, identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team. Minimum 2 trial shifts (managed by you or shop manager) and 5 shifts with shadow.
Lead, direct, organise and motivate the team responsible for drinks development, making sure that they are fairly recognised and rewarded.
Responsible for ongoing training and support for staff and making new hires
Understanding and experience with government standard health and safety, food hygiene and HAACP.
Work well with a team across the business; chefs and managers.
