A BIT ABOUT US
David and Kaz started Grind and Co. In 2011, wanting somewhere to hang out when they weren't working - or even when they were - and could get a proper cup of coffee like in Melbourne, Kaz's hometown. Grind now has 9 sites across central and east London, each smashing out coffee, cocktails and food day to night, and last year we took up residence in an old coffee warehouse in the heart of Shoreditch to roast our own coffee.
Covent Garden Grind and Clerkenwell Grind are two beautiful restaurant sites packed full of vibe and energy. The atmosphere in Grind is fast-paced and vibrant, with strong emphasis on quality coffee and seasonal food and always the best service.
YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for the next generation of Head Baristas here at Grind. As Head Barista you will be responsible for making excellent quality coffee fast and in a fun environment. Your role is to lead the team to ensure the coffee is always perfect, recruiting and developing your team, stock control and management and being a supportive manager role on site.
Being a Head Barista means we expect the usual stuff; understanding your beans and tools, training and developing your team and ensuring the best service, but the coffee side of the Grind is so much more. It's all about the buzz, the vibe and the energy!
