Here at the Queen's Arms in South Kensington we are looking for a kitchen porter/ assistant to join our team. We are close to the Royal Albert Hall and an icon amongst London pubs, with visitors from all over the world. We serve good quality pub food and expect that our whole team contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen.
Your job will primarily be washing up and cleaning but you will also be expected to assist with preparation and eventually service. For the right person there will be opportunities to develop and start to cook and learn about all aspects of working in the kitchen. We are part of a large company so there will be plenty of chances to grow with us here at the Queen's Arms and beyond.
Our kitchen is always busy, so we need someone strong with infectious energy who has a positive 'can do' attitude and works with a smile on their face. Strong communication skills are a must in a busy kitchen environment so we require that you speak good English as a minimum.
We are looking for someone for around 40 hours per week, working mainly evenings and weekends. Applications for part time work will also be considered providing that the circumstances are a good fit.
