The Larder is an award-winning collection of four unique East London venues, each with a large and growing customer following in their local areas based on our consistent quality of coffee, food and service.
Our reputation amongst local diners is strong and as we enter our tenth year of operation we are launching two exciting new locations. For this we need to strengthen our kitchen team with a committed and creative chef who is looking to further their career and move to a more senior role within 12 months. You will have at least 2 years' experience in a busy kitchen and will have a good palette and a keen sense of what makes a good dish.
The pay rate is £8.50 - £9.50 per hour, dependant on experience, with a pay rise after 6 months for strong performers. We open occasionally in the evenings for private parties but the role is mostly day time shifts, 8am to 5pm. Start date is 22nd May.
This role would suit a strong commis chef looking to take their first step to a more senior position in the kitchen. The team is friendly and motivated and there is a great working environment, one of our core rules is that all staff treated with respect, and must treat each other the same way.
The Larder uses only fresh ingredients, nothing frozen, and we have no Fryer. Our home-cooked style is what sets us apart.
