We are seeking a happy, energetic, kind and reliable nanny/PA to look after two of our children during term time (girl 8 and boy 11) and all four children during some holidays; girl 15, girl 13, boy 11 and girl.
8. Someone who genuinely enjoys being with kids and is pro-active, motivated and fun. We also have two cats and are looking for someone who is happy to help out with them as well. This is a shared-care, live-out position, but the nanny will need to be able to take sole charge on those occasions when both parents are away (about 4 weekends a year which will be paid for additionally).
This role requires a confidant driver, some travel, but mostly only during the summer holidays, and a good cook who can do meal prep for mum as well as for the kids. We are a happy, busy, easy going family and really need a nanny who can just fit in and help by keeping our energetic, fun loving kids happy while we work. We will also provide a car for family and personal use, and offer 4 weeks paid holiday.

*have at least 4 years experience looking after three or more children that are a similar age to ours
*speak English as a first language
*are a UK resident or have a working visa (with at least 1.5 year remaining)
*are a very experienced and confident driver (automatic) with a valid driving license
*have at least 2 excellent, checkable references, 1 from most recent employer
*have the ability to cook fresh, tasty and healthy meals
*are a strong Swimmer
*are neat and tidy with the children and with yourself
*are punctual, trustworthy, reliable, organised and efficient
*have a can-do attitude, are enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in a career in childcare
*are a non-smoker
*have a current CRB
*have done a first aid course within the last 3 years
Responsibilities comprise school runs, afterschool activities, meal preparation, room/playroom organisation and packing/unpacking of the children. We have a daily full time cleaner, but would expect the nanny to help out with the children’s laundry, unloading/loading the dishwasher, putting away food shopping and doing local errands.
Start date: January 2 2022
Hours: 12:30pm – 7:30pm during term time/8:30am – 7:30pm during school holidays, but we tend to travel for most of these and the nanny doesn’t come with us
Days: Monday to Friday
Babysitting: two nights a week
Salary: £11-£13/hour net depending on experience
We take responsibility for the payment of tax and national insurance on the nanny's salary.
