We are looking for handyman operatives able to carry out general maintenance tasks such as moving floor boxes, moving furniture, hanging pictures/whiteboards/televisions (snagging). Painting experience is absolutely essential, related qualifications will be viewed favourably.
The successful candidate will be taken on as a subcontractor (so will require a CIS card) but given 40 hours work a week. We have been working alongside one of our subcontractors for over 35 years so this position would suit someone looking for a stable, long-term income, not just seasonal project work. Please do not apply if you expect to arrive late and leave early. The centres we maintain are extremely prestigious so punctuality, tidy presentation and polite conduct are a must.
The starting rate is £90 a day (before tax) and the works are based in centres in and around London and a few inf the South East. A travel allowance of £7.50 is given on top of the daily rate and the daily rate has the potential to increase upon good performance reviews from our clients. A vehicle is essential as we have some centres in the South East that we need cover for.
