This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long established housing organisation who are leaders within their fields and who offer excellent career progression.
Established for over 20 years our speciality is hospitality and housing, where we undertake  various projects which include property developments, property refurbishments, social housing, facilities management, property lettings and property management, hotels, hostels and B and B; operations.
The Role
The work is typically preparing rooms to let, and planned maintenance from a small repair to small works such as painting, decorating, plumbing, garden works, kitchen and bathroom installations. You will be required to be moving from job to job throughout the day/week predominantly on a reactive basis.
You will be liaising closely with the director and his team in undertaking planned and re active maintenance works as the jobs come through.
The Person
The ideal candidate will come from a maintenance background and will have a good all round ability. You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a maintenance operative.
You will need to have all road "multi trade" skills and be able to carry out the following types of work:

General carpentry
Paint and decorating
Tiling
Basic plumbing
General handyman skills

Fluent in English
Hard working
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade
You must possess good all round multi-trading skills.
Own tools required
Good customer service skills
Full UK driving license

Suitable candidates must have qualifications and or experience in various trades such as tiling, carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering, painting and decorating and general repairs/maintenance issues.
