Hands-on HEAD HOUSEKEEPER / COOK NOTTING HILL
Our client is looking for a very capable and highly experienced individual to become the Full Time hands-on Head Housekeeper / Cook for their beautiful home in Notting Hill.
Role details
Hours: Monday - Friday approximately 8 hours per day, to be discussed.
Salary: £42K gross per annum
Start Date: as soon as possible
Responsibilities:
• Fully overseeing this beautiful residence to a consistently extremely high standard.
• Ensuring that every room is well organised and is immaculate at all times.
• Liaising with other staff on site to make sure the Principal’s requirements are met.
• Liaising with external contractors when necessary.
• Greeting guests ensuring they are looked after during their stay.
• Assisting current cleaning and laundry staff.
• Ensuring high-end specialist surfaces including limestone, and marble are cared for correctly.
• General tidying including loading and unloading dishwasher, clearing glasses, washing up, hanging clothes and Towels.
• Wardrobe Management for the Principals.
• Regular clearing out of fridge and kitchen cupboards.
COOK:
• Family cooking (breakfast / supper) and occasional prep for supper (family often cooks on their own) on a daily basis
• Prepping weekend meals when required
• Creating healthy but inventive weekly and dinner party menus
• Food stocking (local butchers/market for local organic produce)
Candidate Requirements
• Ability to plan your hours in the house and prioritise tasks appropriately.
• Proven Housekeeping skills with the ability and dedication to have the residence always looking in immaculate condition.
• You will be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent standard of spoken and written English. You must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively via phone and text.
• Ability to be loyal, discrete and totally dependable.
• Excellent, verifiable references.
• Driver preferred.
