We are looking for an experienced and active nanny to look after our two children, aged 5 and.
2. We are a friendly, easy going professional family living in Hampstead and are looking for a permanent live out nanny who is kind, enthusiastic, has a happy disposition and can fit in to become part of the family.
The role will involve carrying out usual nursery duties, including school runs (both school and nursery are walking distance or a short bus ride away), supervising homework, meal preparation, room/playroom organisation, children’s laundry, taking children for outings, after-school activities and playdates. We have a regular cleaner but would expect the nanny to help out with very light tidying up, loading/unloading the dishwasher and doing local errands.
Requirements/skills:
- Non-smoker
- CRB/DBS checked, first aid paediatric certificate.
- At least 3 years of experience in the UK.
- At least 2-3 excellent verifiable references.
- Excellent spoken/written English
- Pro-active, has a can-do attitude and a genuine love for children.
- Is reliable, punctual, organised and efficient.
- Is capable of supervising homework and school projects.
- Has a clean driving licence. This would be a bonus but not a strict requirement.
Start date – March 2022 but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Babysitting – preferably one night per week.
Salary - £12-£14/hour depending on experience for 35-40 hours each week. We take responsibility for payment of tax and NI on the nanny’s salary.
Hours –expected to be from 12:00 noon - 7:30 pm, Monday to Friday but would require occasional flexibility. Longer days will be required during school holidays.
