Hosting 9 restaurants, bars, a member’s club, Barber and Parlour, Ned’s Club Active and Relax, two swimming pools, along with six dedicated event spaces.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Guest Service Manager to join our team at The Ned. We are looking for someone who is motivated, can lead the team, be self-supervising and highly organised.

This role is ideal for an experienced Front Office Supervisor looking to progress into their first manager position. Previous exposure to working in a fast-paced F and B; environment or Room Service experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the hiring and on-boarding process for new starters. Ensuring they are supported throughout their employment.
- Support in the performance management of a team of 10 employees Carrying out appraisals and disciplinary procedures when needed.
- Ensure all calls and guest requests are received and actioned efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure the team are trained in all areas of the hotel including Room Service order taking, Restaurant, Hotel and Spa booking.
- Co-Ordinate pre-arrival contact for all guests with reservations in the hotel.
- Regular meetings with HODs (Engineering, Rooms Service, Housekeeping, Spa) to ensure their needs are being serviced effectively by the Guest Services team.

Essential / Desirable Skills:

- Opera and Knowcross experience
- A hospitality-related degree or diploma.
- Fluency in a second language
- Active in hospitality trade associations (i.e. AICR, Institute of Hospitality)
- Call Center experience would be an advantage but not essential.
