The Role
This is an exciting Guest Service Assistant role to assist in the smooth running of the hotel operation on a day-to-day basis; providing excellent guest service in all areas of the hotel.
The shift pattern is 5 out of 7 days per week with 8.5 hour shifts, a combination of early and late arrangement.
Our Guest Service Assistants are required to respond to all guests’ needs and requests, delivering high levels of guest service, assisting in the Z Café as well as Reception.

The Person
Suitable candidates for the role will have:
O   Previous experience in hospitality
O   Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
O   A positive, can-do approach
O   Team playing skills
O   Excellent customer service skills
O   The ability to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
O   Ensuring that guests receive prompt and polite attention and personal recognition always.
O   Checking-in guests with a warm welcome.
O   Checking-out guests following the Z Hotel guest service standards.
O   Developing rapport with Hotel guests and creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
O   Serving Hotel Guests and visitors in the Z Café, offering high levels of guest service.
O   Cleaning and polishing glassware, chinaware and equipment in the Café.
O   Preparing and carrying out Mis-en-place as required.
O   Ensuring high levels of cleanliness and tidiness in the café and reception areas.
O   Maintaining positive communication with all colleagues.
