About Pax Lodge:
Pax Lodge is one of our four World Centres and is a place for members and families of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to meet. It offers accommodation, international volunteering programs, employment opportunities and a wide range of activities.
About the Role:
Pax Lodge is looking for someone to assist the Deputy World Centre Manager with guest service duties, in order to establish and maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and visitors.
The post holder will provide front of house reception duties including guest check-in, event bookings, responding to emails and dealing with queries from guests.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, will enjoy working with others in an international team and will have experience in operational management. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with knowledge of other languages desirable but not essential.
This is a two-year, fixed-term contract position. The successful applicant will work on a scheduled Rota of Tuesday to Saturday (15:00 to 23:00) with an hour break and one day per week on night call.
