About the Role:
As the successful Guest Relations Executive, you will have previous experience within a four or five star hotel and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
You will possess strong computer skills, ideally with knowledge of Opera, and be efficient and effective in your daily administration tasks. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and will be fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English language and ideally other languages also. You will demonstrate a positive, confident and enthusiastic manner and immaculate presentation.
The main duties for Guest Relations Executive will include but not be limited to the following:
Main duties:
As the successful Guest Relations Executive, your main duties will include:
• To compose and issue the VIP Memo on a daily basis
• To assign amenities on a daily basis to all arriving VIP / return guests and ensure coordination with Room Service at all times
• To transfer any guest related information from the DM log book to the Opera profile records and follow through with a letter where needed
• To respond in writing to every guest comment card received
• To manage the late charges efficiently and compose the relevant letters to guests
• When based in the lobby, to welcome all incoming guests and visitors and direct them according to their needs
• To meet and escort all arriving VIP guests to their rooms, ensuring that their needs are met, their luggage swiftly sent to their rooms and that they are checked-in in a courteous efficient manner without delay
• To ensure that all incoming reservations for the day match the necessary accommodation and that all VIP guest rooms are blocked
• To ensure that a statement of ‘blocked rooms’ is sent to the Housekeeping and Room Service departments for the necessary amenity set up
• To ensure all guest special requests are registered and distributed to relevant departments
This interesting role may also include more unusual requests and errands-so flexibility and the ability to multi task is a must!
