Main purpose of Job:
1. To undertake formal audits of the CH and CO Group supply chain working closely with the Head of compliance to ensure both CH and CO and the suppliers are operating within the remit of their contracted agreements and have robust processes and procedures in place to ensure the accuracy of monthly reporting.
2. To liaise with the Head of compliance to identify control gaps/ weaknesses championing financial rigour and discipline throughout the business.
3. To Liaise with the Head of compliance to proactively seek process improvements to protect the business and contribute to enhanced financial performance.
Key Tasks:
Supplier Audits
Analysis of data generated using internal reporting tools such as Enterprise and Caternet to ensure alignment between system uploads and supplier price files. Working closely with colleagues from our procurement team and with supplier account managers you will review and analyse supplier’s income and rebate reports to ensure monthly CTC reports are aligned to internal reporting output. You will also be required to assist the Head of compliance in identifying any internal or external control gaps recommending process improvements to ensure the accuracy of reporting.
Cash Stock and Security
To assist the Head of compliance in the review of company cash and stock management procedures.Ad hoc review of site cash and stock security elevating any concerns to the Head of compliance. Verifying unit stock valuation, checking sites are rotating stock, taking advantage of best Buys and ensuring where relevant that stock requisition and transfer procedures are being followed.To analyse and review data output from EPOS systems as required.
Person Specification
experience - You will have good system skills, accompanied by strong numeric and analytical ability. You will be a confident individual with a flexible approach and the ability to communicate with all levels. You must also be a good team player.
To be successful in the role of a compliance analyst, you must be able to work independently.You must also be of an ethical character, performing your duties honestly and to the best of your ability. Since you are auditing group suppliers, you must have the ability to be objective. Confidentiality is also extremely important.and you must possess a thorough understanding of the business and the Policies and procedures that regulate it.
Skills
• Possess excellent inter personal skills.
• Ability to communicate oral and written information.
• 2 Years’ experience of using an accounts / reconciliation system.
• experience of EPOS administration
• experience of Microsoft excel and word
• Ability to work on own initiative as and when required.
• Eye for detail and ability to prioritise.
• Positive attitude towards colleagues internally and externally.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Whilst the role is predominately office based there will be occasions where you are required to travel including occasional overnight stays.
