Phil Franklin Landscapes Ltd are an established Maintenance and Landcaping company based in East London.
 
Our portfolio of contracts range from small domestic gardens to large commercial estates and university grounds
 
We operate predominantly in the East London and Docklands area and are currently looking to expand our team to meet business growth demands.
We are based near Stratfrod – Forest Gate E7
 
There are two positions available:
Grounds/garden Maintenance Operative (x1)
Grounds/garden Maintenance Supervisor (x1)
 
Proven experience in all aspects of grounds maintenance and a good understanding of safe working practices is essential. experience using garden maintenance machinery and tools e.g. Pedestrian Mowers; strimmers; leaf Blowers etc. Is required.
 
Work hours are a minimum of 40 hrs a week Monday-Friday. Candidates must be flexible to work additional hours if required, and willing to work across a number of sites and in all weather conditions. Reliability and punctuality must be maintained at all times.
 
The company vans are stocked with quality tools and are provided as part of the role. Initially you will be working under an experienced team leader to familiarize yourself with the sites and client requirements.
  
Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and skills.
Grounds/garden maintenance Operative
 
At least 3 years grounds maintenance experience.
A proven track record of excellent customer service, reliability and punctuality.
Good plant knowledge and extensive experience of the safe use and maintenance of power tools is essential, along with understanding safe working practices.
 
Salary 18-21k DOE
 
Grounds/garden maintenance Supervisor
 
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced team leader who is looking for a long-term position in a friendly and growing business.
 
At least 3 years grounds maintenance experience and a minimum 1 year in a supervisory position.
A proven track record of excellent customer service skills, reliability and punctuality.
Ability to delegate effectively.
Good understanding of risks assessments and method statements.
Good plant knowledge and extensive experience of the safe use and maintenance of power tools is essential, along with understanding safe working practices.
 
Salary 22-28k + DOE
 
Desirable for both roles:
A clean UK driving licence (Cat B +E ability to pull trailers an advantage)
Level 2 NVQ in Amenity Horticulture or above
PA1 and PA6 Spraying Certificates.
Horticultural qualifications (RHS 2 or equivalent)
CSCS card
