Days and Hours: Term Time: 20 hours a week to include one full day 7.00am to 6.30 and two afternoons, either 3.00 pm to 6.30 pm or 1.00 pm to 6.30 pm. School Holiday: Two full days, 7.00 am to 6.30 pm and one afternoon 3.00 pm to 6.30 pm.
Zack, aged 13 is a happy and loveable character. He will be eager to show you his favorite book and will be keen to point out the key characters. If you show Zack lots of attention you will soon be-come the best of friends. He has a younger brother called James, age 8 who is the Jester of the family and Olivia aged 10 who is a happy go lucky.
Zack has a rare genetic chromosome disorder called Mowet Wilson Syndrome. He is mobile albeit a little slow. Zack has three key words he is currently able to say but is very communicative in other ways, such as gestures. He has epilepsy which is usually well controlled via medication, however more recently he has had autonomic seizures.
Part of your role will be to facilitate the morning routine, helping with breakfast and helping Zack get ready for school. During the full day there will be some meal preparation and time to unwind after a few errands. Once children are home it’s homework time for James and Olivia, dinner and some fun activities.
This job will suit someone who is happy to work in partnership with mum at times. Personality wise someone who is very loving, creative, bubbly and warm. The previous nanny has been with the family 10 years so it will be tough boots to fill!
