Toby is 6 and lives with his mum and dad in Enfield. Toby is a happy, charming young man who loves games and cuddles. Toby has cerebral palsy and multi-sensory impairment.
Toby and his family are looking for a support worker to join this small but effective care team to manage Toby’s daily needs. Toby requires his meals to be pureed and his drinks thickened and a confident and empathetic support worker is required for meal times. You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, administering medication, fun games and activities, driving Toby to and from school, and supporting him to attend church on Sunday mornings.
This job Wills suit a support worker with good experience of supporting someone with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Full training will be offered to the right candidate. Toby has a lot of input from therapists and his new support worker will have the opportunity to work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure his therapies are correctly delivered at home.
