Wage /Salary: £13.50 gross per hour weekdays and £15.50 gross per hour weekends and bank holidays

Rebecca is 15. She is an outgoing and sociable young lady who loves to spend time with friends, get made up for parties and going on trips and activities. Rebecca has Cerebral Palsy and is a wheelchair user when out in the community. She uses a voice output communication aid.
Rebecca is looking for a PA / carer who is reliable, sociable and outgoing and can support her to engage in her chosen activities. Rebecca uses a speech device to communicate and her new PA will have excellent IT skills to programme the device (training will be provided). Rebecca is looking for a fun and vibrant PA / carer who won’t feel self-conscious when dancing with her at parties, pop concerts or when trampolining in the park!
This job will suit someone who is fun and confident, preferably with voluntary, personal or paid experience with children or young people. Hours are negotiable but the family does need a couple of hours support early evening on at least one weekday per week and a block of hours on one of the weekend days. You will need to be flexible and available some whole weekdays during school holidays. Occasional evenings and overnight stays are also needed. As some shifts are only two hours long, it is likely that you will want to live within 30 minutes travel to N21 to make it worthwhile for you.
