Essential: Leading a Care Team, Supervising Staff, completing rotas supporting a child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
Start Date: 21st September 2022
Days and Hours: 37.5 hours per week, a mixture of mornings, afternoons and weekends.
Toby is sweet natured and affectionate young lad. He lives with his mum and dad in Enfield and loves to be Sung too and to play fun games with his family and carers. Toby has complex needs. He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and multi - sensory impairments.
This role is about heading up Toby’s small but strong care team. You will be responsible for providing direct support to Toby as well as writing staff rotas, updating care plans and supervising staff. You will need to be confident, assertive and able to form strong and successful working relationships within the team. Applicants must be sensitive to the family’s West African culture.
This job will suit a fun, confident and easy going Team Leader who can deal with day to day issues with staff in a calm and efficient manner. You will have strong support work or care experience, particularly with those with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and epilepsy. The family attend church on Sundays and if working on a Sunday you will accompany Toby and his family.
You’ll be able to become part of a great team who are all focused on enabling Toby to reach his full potential.
