Grill Chef
Gunpowder, a vibrant, home-style independent restaurant group in One Tower Bridge London, is looking for a full-time Grill Chef to join our team.

Our Grill Chef will oversee the production of dishes, prepare marinades, prepare dishes using the grill and Tandoor, ensure consistent quality and preparation to the highest standards. They will also be involved in planning specials alongside the Head Chef and other senior chefs. They will be required to train junior chefs, implement and ensure compliance of hygiene and health and safety guidelines. Attention to detail is a crucial element within this role and all Chefs must be aware of the specific ingredients and their measurements. Finally, they are responsible for tasting meals and sauces before they are served to customers, to ensure they meet our standards.
We are looking for an experienced chef with the skills and knowledge to make complex dishes (both specialist and traditional) using fresh ingredients and contemporary and traditional cooking methods.
There will be shift and weekend work and all relevant Health and Safety Regulations training will be provided, along with a thorough induction to our way of working.
