Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 pa + Paid OT
Working Hrs: 5 Days (7 shifts / approximately. 50 hrs per week)

This award winning Restaurant and Cocktail Bar situated in the heart of the West End has built an enviable reputation for offering modern / innovative Pan-Asian fusion cooking (a la Carte; tasting menus; small plates).
Featuring Über stylish interiors and known for its live entertainment, this late night venue attracts a fashionable A list London crowd in addition to hosting private parties (exclusive venue hire) throughout the year (business peaking over the festive period).
Kitchen hours (closed Sundays): 11pm last orders / 100 – 200 plus evening covers, lunch – predominately private parties
Role Description
Supporting the Head chef (creative, collaborative, innovative approach to food), responsibilities include:
Menu planning – ideas and creativity encouraged
Daily smooth running of designated section (grill / pass)
Stock control: section orders, deliveries, food wastage management, stock counting
New recruit training, setting standards, daily compliance files and procedures
Excellent Chef Management training programme and progression opportunities (planned new London openings confirmed)
Desired Attributes
Passion for Pan Asian cooking with experience on the Grill / Pass gained in comparable kitchen operations.
Skills set: knowledge of current trends; creative; organised with good communication skills; eye for detail re: plating / presentation
Salary and Benefits
Starting on £25,000 – £26,000 basic salary pa + Paid Overtime (extra shifts worked)
Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period: excellent opportunities of movement within the group (new openings, etc); regular salary reviews / courses as required; in-house training (e.g. Kitchen rotation / BOH systems); workplace pension option; 28 days paid annual leave; FAM trips; team excursions; staff / group discounts; laundered uniform; meals on duty
5 days (7 Shifts / approximately. 50 hrs / Tuesday to Saturday finishing 11pm to 12am)
